Psychotherapy and Trauma-Informed Care in Vermont

We offer individualized psychotherapy for adults and older adults. Sessions are collaborative, warm, and grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches designed to help you reconnect with yourself, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience.

tDCS Therapy in Vermont for Pain, Mood, and Cognitive Support

tDCS is a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation treatment that supports mood, chronic pain, migraines, and cognitive functioning.
This service is offered separately from psychotherapy and may be used alone or combined with therapy depending on your goals.

How Sessions Are Offered

​

You may receive tDCS in one of two ways:

​

  • In-office sessions

Clinician-administered sessions in a calm, supportive environment.

​

  • At-home supervised sessions (for eligible clients)

Eligible clients may use a clinic-provided device at home after completing:

​

  • a clinical eligibility screening,

  • a safety review, and

  • a full orientation session.

 

At-home sessions are supervised through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring safety and effectiveness during treatment.

Safety & Eligibility Screening

​

Before beginning tDCS, all clients complete a comprehensive safety screening, including:

​

  • medical + neurological history,

  • medications,

  • implant and seizure history,

  • skin sensitivity,

  • contraindication review.

 

Only clients who meet safety criteria are approved for at-home use.

​

What to Expect

​

  • Sessions last 20–30 minutes

  • The sensation is generally mild (light tingling or warmth)

  • No downtime afterward

  • Can be offered as:

    • Standalone treatment

    • Combined tDCS + therapy sessions

    • Condition-focused packages (e.g., migraine, pain, mood)
